What exactly do you state in places like this? your hobbies? your personal life? your favourite food dishes?

If you haven’t gathered from my use of spelling above, I am Canadian and am a part-time Forex / Currency trade and in conjunction to this, I partake in the trading of Equities / Stocks as well on the resource heavy TSX and Venture exchanges.

What has drawn me to the Forex world is the heavy use of technical analysis (analyzing charts) as well as the macroeconomic perspective of countries impact on their economic policies on their own currencies (fundamentals).  Forex is a pretty new venture to most as it has only recently become available to retail investors/speculators/traders in this century and certainly has a bad rap often labeled as a scam due in part to shady brokers or a loosing battle by former traders.

A word of advice to those want to get into this game and as the commonly throw around statistics used by the Forex community, 90% of traders loose in Forex, and the other 10% make decent to spectacular returns.  In no means is this a get rich quick scheme but it is often the lure of quick and easy money with no need for education that capitalizes on victims of their hard earned money.  Although there has been plenty of times of folks getting rich in a ridiculous amount of time such as Mystic Genie on Forex Factory.

Like anything, you must treat it seriously as a business with a plan and action to succeed and arm yourself with as much knowledge as you can.  Again, this requires dedication, mental strength, experience, in-depth analysis and starting capital that you can stand to loose.  I simply comply to two personal rules: K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) and “have a plan and trade the plan.”

My trading method stems from Hector Trader, a successful full-time trader whom developed his effective 3 SMA system and my education consists of a combination of Daily FX and Forex Factory forums.

What my intention for this blog is to provide myself with a secondary medium to write out my analysis of upcoming trades and maybe aid or entertain the reader with Forex knowledge and potential opportunities while doing this.
