For the upcoming 2008 year, potential new U.S. car owners will be can now have the option to purchase a smart car. For all I know, these cars are highly fuel efficient, safe and relatively cheap. However due to its compact demeanor and the atypical automobile size, many individuals are blasting and questioning the safety of these cars in highway or high speed situations. The below video clearly shows that these cars are up to par with any small economy vehicles such as the Civic or Corolla.
